You are what you eat, possibly, but more importantly, you are what you think. One famous quote is “As a man (or woman) thinks in his heart, so is he”.
There have been many great books written on the subject of ‘thinking’. Their common theme is you can be a better, happier, more productive individual by controlling your thoughts. You are in charge of those thoughts.
We all have thoughts dropped into our minds. From that point on, it is up to us to deal with that thought. If it is a bad thought, it should be dismissed, but sometimes it is considered. From there it may even be grown into a plan and acted upon. But it started with a thought that we had the responsibility to accept or reject.
And then there are the thoughts we produce. Produce good thoughts. Train your mind to think of achieving your goals. Envision them accomplished. Create a ‘movie’ in your mind of you living your future with that end result you wanted.
So get busy, dream. Great people dream.
